Tracking vehicle movements within stringent security protocols

The client required a secure vehicle tracking and time-logging solution that could accurately record movements, classify vehicle types and automate timesheet reporting. The system also needed to comply with stringent security protocols that restricted direct access to internal and cloud infrastructure.

JMDS designed and implemented a customized RFID-based vehicle management system around those operational and security requirements. The solution used a secure intermediary architecture, customized RFID hardware integration, VPN-enabled data transfer, automated vehicle logging, classification and reporting that integrated with the existing technology environment.

The system automated vehicle movement tracking, improved timesheet accuracy and removed manual logging. By integrating within the client’s secure infrastructure, JMDS delivered a reliable and scalable platform that strengthened operational visibility and fleet management.
